We have a worst lens thread, but I want to know what the worst camera you've ever used is. Can be film or digital.
For me it was this piece of shit:
http://www.amazon.com/Vivitar-2-1-MP-Camera-V25-BLACK/dp/B004531T4Y
I bought it a few years ago at a walmart out of curiosity because it was the cheapest digital camera they had. Even in bright sunlight it can't take a usable photo. pic related is in "low resolution mode." The high res photos don't look much better.
It also stored all photos in internal memory, so if the batteries died all your photos were gone. And it came with a proprietary usb connector to boot, so if you lost that, you'd have no way to transfer photos from the camera, not that you'd want to.

'Worst' one I ever owned was a cheap Nikon p&s that literally lasted about five minutes out of the box.
my friend had a Sony CyberShot he got for christmas and I held it and felt the buttons and shit, and oh my god it's so horrendous. I can't stress it enough. And the pictures are like a cellphone from 2005.

10/10 photo senpai

this one.
2 AA batteries, SD card, and kind-of-vga sensor.
as a kid with his first digital camera, it was funny to use, but the picture quality really sucked.

Lmao what an ingenious design
This one. Broke after two rolls. Mirror jams up sometimes, the sprocket roller does not unlock anymore so the only way to rewind the film is open up the camera in a darkroom and pull it out, shutter performance is erratic, and something inside it causes scratches in the lower part of the frame that go across the entire roll.
Soviet cameras, never again. Helios is nice, though.

a lot of early digital cameras were like that, at least the cheaper ones.
I think I bought that one in 2011 though

I own 3 Zenit 11, all of them work marvelous. Bought them for 10 EUR each

>Can you feel the edge of the 90s?
You mean lack of edges? Everything on it is round.

GE X500. What a POS. Sometimes it would randomly decide to write its 4mb file for 20seconds whilst the entire camera locked up and retarded out
I had yashica t4 that had a completely unusable autofocus system. I think that particular model was broken and not indicative of how all T4s perform but either way I sold it right back. very frustrating to miss like 3 or 4 rolls worth of cool shots before giving up.
Sorry RX100. Too small to use. The urge to throw it at the wall was greater than the urge to take pictures with it.

top three worst cameras:
3. 35mm Holga
>The bad makes it unique and gives street cred
2. Canon SX400IS
>Terrible CCD sensor paired with a shitty superzoom lens that had fucking awful aberration and sharpness.
3. Some $20 Vivitar I got when I was 9
>This camera is cheap and bad.
Well there's no contest here, the camera in my Nokia 6820
