Where were you when the entire concept of filters was utterly BTFO?

His voice is audible silk, smooth and soothing but every time I see his face I want to punch it.
Yeah, the car definitely looked better with the polariser. Also, if there were any clouds his technique would add rank blue outlines to them.
As for the nd filter workaround, "hey instead of using a small piece of glass and a single photo, just take up a whole gb of card space and leave photoshop 15 minutes to process your files"
Fuck off Tony you cunt.
Simulate this

Massive blown out flares and low contrast colours are good for photos, right?
>>2705267
It will in the near future when we'll have per pixel exposure control.

>Doesn't know how to use a CPL filter
>Doesn't mention that the UV filter is only really useless on digital
>Is so used to being a gearfag that he's forgotten what it's like to shootfilm or be limited to a certain "high" shutter speed
>Doesn't know what flash sync is
>Replies that the best way to solve flash sync is to buy more expensive gear that doesn't work with film
Literally a hack. The only reason this gearfag is even popular is because of his wife.

I like how he hated the flaring with the UV filter on, but loved the flaring without the polarizer on the car.
I tried his long exposure method too. It's useful when you don't have a tripod, but if you don't take enough photos or the shutter speed for each is too short, it can give a weird multiple exposure effect (which obviously it is). Despite what tony says about the noise, due to that effect it doesn't look as smooth as using an ND filter. It also doesn't work well for moving objects, like cars on a highway.
Also, working with 20 files for one shot is a pain in the ass.
...of course I may be biased as I just bought a 10 stop ND filter...

you can't remove reflection in photoshop.
not easily.
sure it will cut down light in an aquarium setting, but it will be fine, unless you use a canon.
>>2705628
Why is a Japanese product not "chink"?
>>2705675
because "chink" is a pejorative linked to chinese
"ching chong china chink fell down at the skating rink
hold on john
fuck nippon
don brame me i do no wong"
>>2705675
the correct derogative term for japanese is jap or nipnong

He could have used some filters and lights when making that video. How can somebody take advice from a dude that makes such horrible videos?

Take a pic at f1:4 in bright sunlight with 40th shutter to capture movement, without an ND filter.

>>2705768
hmm, filters are only useful in a few specific situations in the first place.
>>2706191
His argument is you could take 100 pictures at 1/4000s and merge them all in Photoshop to simulate 1/40s
.....Yeah....I would just use an ND filter.
