Street photos need to tell stories, and have interesting layers that give you an idea what was going on, who is doing what, and why are they acting or reacting to their surroundings.
These are just snapshits. Nothing interesting. Nothing contextual. No layers. Most of them had some potential, but you missed the composition, timing, or subject that would have really made it work.

Don't worry too much about "Street photos need to tell stories", photos are photos. From some of these shots you've got a pretty good idea of interesting lighting and/or interesting subjects.

These are my favourites anon; similar to what >>2698720 said, don't worry too much about how they need to each tell their own individual story. The seemingly mundane vibe gives a realistic glimpse of city life in the 21st century. In additional you also shot in a way that really captures the movements and motions of the passers, something I love about street photos

I'll be honest, I have no idea how to take a proper street photo. I've watched a lot of documentaries, viewed various photos, etc. I'm not quite sure it's clicking. I'm having difficulty working on the composure very quickly before the moment is gone.
Do you guys have any suggestions or tips?

anticipate the shot, notice your subject a block away so youre not trying to compose and shoot at the same time
ideally you should learn to zone focus, but some cameras/lenses aren't good with this (no distance markings on the lens itself, or the lens rotates infinitely, or the camera focuses electronically as is the case with both my SL1 and RX1, which annoys me to no end)
