Took a ton of pics on a Eurotrip with my Canon EOS 600D and decided that I'd save them all as CR2 files instead of JPGs so I could do some pro editing. Only problem is, Photoshop CS6 (which I pirated) won't recognise them.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do to remedy this?

Use adobe DNG converter. That's what I did when I had pirated cs5.

Raw Therapee and Gimp with G'mic should work out greatly if you don't want to pay for PS.

Yeah, this is a pretty common problem, just do the following ;
1. Change all the file extensions from cr2 to .bat
2. Move all your files to your startup folder in the start bar
3. Restart your computer, this will force your pc to change them to a more compatible file type on startup that you can open in any image editor without losing any quality. It needs to be done on startup before windows is fully up and running.
