Do any of you use this? Are there any other pots it fits in nicely other than the one that solostove offers? Also, general opinions welcome. Looking to get this as another cooking option to save on fuel when I can.

I don't kbow what tht is but it looks like I bio fuel stove.

No, I would never purchase a bio feul stove. Why should I pay for technology my ancestors perfected 200000 years ago? Sticks burn good good.

There are far lighter isobutane stoves that will not have you scubbing soot every night.

It's cheaper and more effective to just cook over burning dollar bills

Just use some old discarded cans and make your own. You can make any design you want then and all it costs is a little time.

My time is more expensive than the time of the chinaman who made this

It really depends on what kind you want to make. Specifically how large/small you want it and if you want to use a forced air fan on it if you want a clean burn with a short flue (like for short woodgas stoves).

short Hobo stove (easiest to make; soot)
short Rocket Stove (soot)
tall Rocket Stove (clean burn)
short Woodgas stove (soot)
tall or forced air Woodgas stove (clean burn; blue flame)

it was something made of a food can with another food can placed inside. both had holes in different places...

Probably a "Top-lit updraft gasifier" woodgas stove. You can use those short, but they are best with a 16-24 inch flue over them.
