I had these cacti for a pretty long time now, but around 2 years ago, some kid fucking mutilated one of them (the one on the right) with a knife. Ever since, it never really healed and i'm not even sure if it's still doing fine. Is it still healthily alive or have i wasted 2 years of my life watering a dead cactus?

The one on the right was mutilated with a knife before you got it. That thing on the top of the "stem" is a different type of cactus grafted on top of the cactus being used as the stem.

These grafted cacti always have short lifespans due to the fact they are grafted.
