That's it. It is settled. The best knife on the planet is the Ontario Ranger TFI. With the Ontario RTAK II as a close second followed by the RAT-7.

Want a hatchet? Done.
Want a pry bar? Done.
Want to break bones while cleaning a kill? Done.
Want something still sharp enough to skin any animal after crazily grinding the blade against concrete? Done.
Want a perfectly weighted and indestructible blade? Done.
Want to bushwhack? Done.
Want to cut something to a surgical degree? Done.
Want to save weight in your pack because you only need one knife? Done.

The Ontario Ranger TFI is purely in a league of it's own, a god among peasants.

Want a comfortable handle? Tough luck bitch.
Want another knife thread? Done.

The handle is a goddamn orgasm to hold fuck you
>>

It's a blocky shitty handle. Slightly better than a handle made of legos.

It actually feels similar to canvas. Feelsgoodbro.

It is an underrated knife, it has a better blade shape than most of the sharpened prybars
>>

It isn't a hatchet.
It won't pry anything of significant weight.
I don't want bone shards in my meat.
Concrete will wear that blade as fast as any other blade.
It isn't perfectly weighed for tasks it isn't designed for, like cutting wood.
Too short for bushwacking.
Not a surgical knife by any means.
It's a knife, nothing more nothing less, and it isn't a hatchet or axe by any means.

There is so much wrong with this OP's claim, it's like Wal-Mart's claim that serrated knives never need sharpening; or Wal-Mart's claim that they sell high carbon stainless; or Wal-Mart's insistence that a $3.00 knife can outperform a $80 knife, and not break.

So... yeah. Pretty much Wal-Mart and anything knife related.

>I don't want bone shards in my meat.
Do you mean that the handle wont absorb much of the shock when chopping and that your bones / joints etc will get messed up?
>>
>>788476
no anon probably means he uses the right tool for the job and hence owns a BONE SAW
>>
