Hey guys, I just went camping and I am covered in mosquito bites. What are some remedies you use to cure the itching?

Hot water, the hottest you can stand without it harming you. You can warm it and pour it or use your shower or dip a wash rag in it and apply it to the skin. The heat will make it itch like mad while the heat is there but when it cools you'll be itch free for a long time. This is good for poison ivy/oak and chiggers too, though chigger bites require more frequent applications I've found due to the depth of their corrosive juices making things swell deeper down.

Benadryl. Maybe some mosquito repellent.

I'd be more worried about west nile than zika. Also, use repellent, then use more, then use more. Use as much as you can. Especially if you have ticks in your area.

Get some arm and hammer toothpaste and rub it on. The baking soda helps relieve itch and swelling. Or I guess you could just mix baking soda and water tull you got a nice paste.

You can buy anti-itch hydrocortisone cream at any pharmacy or grocery store. Works pretty well, although the relief is only temporary. Last year I kept getting bit like crazy even through jeans on short day hikes while wearing repellent and for some reason the bites were lasting for like a week before actually going away. It was crazy. Normally mosquito bites only bother me for an hour or two. I was the only one in my hiking group that had that reaction, too.

That's just like your opinion, maaaan

I get isopropyl alcohol, put it on a cotton ball and hold it there for a min
also works with vodka, but less so and it's more expensive

Stop scratching them OP

Scratch the tips off till you see the liquidity subtance than get salt and lemon juice. And add to to a warm wash cloth. the lemon Juice reduces the bumps and the salt stop the inching. Trust me OP I'm from west Virginia we loaded with mosquitos
