That's super nice anon. Where is it?
>>776263
AH it's Samson C01-anon! This new one is lovely. And yeah whereabouts again? Mid-south somewhere right?
Also we have a Field Recording General somewhere but it was stagnating anyway.
This is my newest one from a couple days ago... it sounds pretty nice but I have mixed feelings about it for my own reasons.

Here's some more OC, recorded between this post and that. Night time on the pond shown in the reposted webm in the OP. The photo used in the new webm is unrelated.

Indeed. I repositioned it to the other side of the pond and aimed it differently. Much better results. Though, I had to remove what sounded like line noise. That may have been the netbook's fan, 8 feet away, but right behind the mic, instead of at the side like it should have been out of the mic's way.
>Also we have a Field Recording General
Oh sorry! Thought it died, but upon viewing my search field it seems I typo'd, "recodring". lol I also searched "deadcat" with no luck.

Pretty awesome, anon.
I tried hard, spent a while converting my phone's mp4 to webm, but couldn't upload it to this thread. Then I remembered that this board doesn't support sound anyway, so I don't know what I was thinking and I don't know how to upload sound files. It was just the spring peepers and wood frogs outside of my house in northeast VT. I guess you can use your imagination.

Use this thread then link the file's url to our thread

Another from near a river at night, recorded between now and this >>776310 post.
I got some fresh pics of the night life while I was at it. A spider and some emerging cicadae. For a moment, I thought the cicadae were some weird white flower until I stopped to look.
Not a very good or interesting recording, but it is OC at least.

I forgot to comment on this, then again it is really long and I have to take time to listen to it. It is some really nice recording. I wish I had equipment that good.

I love dem frogs that sound like a drone ringing. I got some of those along with the peepers the last year or two. Never really ID'd them properly though.
Cool photos too! I wish we were getting the cicadas up nawth but we aren't. I'll have to find other stuff to record I guess.
OC again. River side in morning.
