where I wheel there's a lot of steeps and off camber stuff that fucks with them. I used to be all about carbs and standard trani's but after driving injected slushboxes I'm converted. Only problem is an engine swap means changing the entire wiring harness and computer.

Ya that's my K5 it has a K20 frame on her just with the k5 body. She's literally been built from the ground up and has alot of time and memories in her especially since the motor has less than 2000 miles on it and the tranny has less than 500. Like I said she's only for the nice flat rocky ass desert. But trying to trailer this bitch is a huge bitch she's 5960 lbs with a empty tank. She's a heavy ass bitch and likes to sink. But shes crawls out of anything never been stuck with her.

gears are pretty cheap, but it takes some practice to put them in right. If you know someone that helps.
also loosen the pinion nut by putting a 1" socket with a ten foot breaker bar on it and then drive the truck forward to turn the gear while the breaker bar jams against the dirt.
just a bit of advice since even an impact might not get that bitch.
Also get the pattern right before you twist down the pinion nut- you only get one shot with that crush collar.
