Hello /out/siders.

I was hoping to find a spider "expert" capable of identifying 3 spiders found outside my home in Bakersfield, California. I often find them inside too.

Also, should I be killing these spiders or placing them outside away from my (I've done both, depending on my mood)?

Another thing: These spiders are relatively easy to catch.

That's up to you, it really doesn't matter. None are more than a bee sting. I just squish them with a tissue. The deadly ones I capture and keep as interesting pets.

Any idea what species they are?

Sorry to hear that

Throw some insects into their webs and watch the fun

also
>black widows
kill on sight
>big spiders that freak out my wife
catch and release
>small or spindly spiders that she doesn't mind
let e'm stay and eat more annoying bugs that get in my house

fwiw this policy in conjunction with living innawoods has immeasurable increased my wife's tolerance of spiders.

Have a look there if you'd like, probably easier for you to pick them out than anyone else since you've seen them in person. First two look like grass or wolf spiders to me.

What, you don't like seeing lifted pickup trucks flying a 6 foot flag from a pole in the bed? Bakersfield is great.
>>
>>757388
Dude you need a microscope to identify a lot of arthropods to family, never mind species.
>>
You need to read spiderhugger OP. Google it.

Where you at?
>>
>>757456
The thing is, I don't find them in/near webs. In fact the only two spiders I find in webs in/around my house are Black Widows and Long Legs.
>>757468
Thanks for the input. My "policy" is similar but I'm not innawoods. I do find at least 1 spider a day though.
>>757469
Thanks for the info. To me they look most like ground spiders.
>>757487
I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me.

to be fair, i lied. i don't always kill them on sight. there are red ant nests in my driveway and if i catch a black widow when it's hot and the ants are all riled up i trap it in a jar over an opening to the nest and watch the ants rip it apart

>inb4 psychopath
i don't jerk off to it. yet.
