You are wrong, the slovenes are as austrian as south-tyrol, it does not matter that they speak a different language. Since the times of the romans the celtic noricans and illyric slovenes lived here together, only the borders have changed. For us carinthians the slovenes are more like brothers then the germanic invaders that settle in the northern parts of austria. It worked so well, because we never mixed, but lived side by side.
