Hey guys I have some questions regarding navigation in national parks. Me and my gf will be travelling across Canada this summer and plan on visiting some parks, with the occasional 1 day hike.my question; how easy is it to navigate in these parks? Are the trails clearly mapped or do I have to step up my very limited skill with a compass? Thanks in advance.

You will be fine as long as you build cairns every 50yds.

This.
Carins have saved my life more times than I can count.

The hipsters have ruined it by making fake cairns. You can't rely on cairns any longer. Some official cairns have been kicked over and replaced by imposter cairns that may lead you astray.

Bullshit. Why would official cairns be built so small and weak that they can easily be knocked over? If it's a permanent navigational marker it will be built solidly.
Stop spreading your meme fud bullshit. It's one thing to meme about Mora's but you'll have people getting lost if you spread this bullshit.

why don't you get lost, friend

Practice map navigation with your gf. It will take you one hour to learn the basics. Yt is full of resources for that.

Why are you referring to my post? I am PRO official cairns.
Cairns save lives. Hipsters have ruined it.
