Having a five day trip starting on Sunday, today I see that one of my sleeping bag zippers has come off the track: since I'm expecting below-freezing temperatures for my backpacking trip, I've been desperately searching for any way to fix it: I've taken it to a tailor who couldn't do anything, the people at REI couldn't do anything, and literally not one fucking arts & crafts store in my area carries any kind of zipper repair kit. I have one day to fix this, what do I do?

I meant to say that my trip starts on Saturday: since it is late Thursday evening, I remain with one day to fix this as stated

Operate it as a quilt?

Seriously, if a tailor couldn't fix it, and REI couldn't fix it, and there are no spare parts available where you are....what is /out/ supposed to do for you?

If you're an REI member can't you just return it and get a new one? Assuming it's from REI.

I came back to say that I got it fixed after a half hour of jimmying with a jewler's screwdriver and a pair of pliers
