With Spring finally here, I'm taking a few days this weekend to see the flowers in Smoky Mountains NP, likely camping in Cade's Cove. Are there any trails or areas you could recommend?
Pic related, White Fringe Phacelia on the Cove Hardwood Nature Trail. There's supposed to be whole mountains covered in white.
Hate to break it to you, but no flowers yet. I just got back from their a couple days ago. I'd try and postpone till the first weekend in April.
That's nice, reminds me of the snowdrop woods in the UK.

i would recommend any but the most popular.
you will thank me later.
It's full of trash and drunks mate. Come up to the Cherokee National Forest. I live on land adjacent to it and got the best backyard in the world. A lot less travel, lots of rain, and lots of hunting.
