I'm not digging any trenches, though. At most, I need the occasional cat-hole or to turn up a little soil to find baitworms. Adding an extra couple pounds to my gear just to make those simple tasks easier wouldn't be a great investment of my carry capacity.

I bought a Coughlin's brand folding shovel for only 15 bucks and it's sturdy as fuck.
No included saw like your pic, which seems cool, but for 15 bucks coughlin makes a nice solid product.
