It really is sad they sell inferior products to Americans simply because that is what they want. 4 bed 2 bath. They all share a bathroom and I furnished the bedrooms myself with a mini fridge in each. Never had any issues with people stealing food. I've had a few bad roomies. Some messy ones, some that hardly paid rent on time, etc. But I'd 90% of them have been alright. all grinds without exception gain or lose strength by angle of the first half millimeter of the edge. if it's mirco bevel or scandi makes no difference. where it makes difference is how it behaves when you cut deep. scandi grinds wedge and have small surface area of tension so are better at splitting and pushing through full flat grind with or without micro bevel is better for soft materials like meat but it tends to bind up more in wood or other hard stuff.

Removing hooks from fish and closing split shot weights is pretty much the extent of what I use the pliers for. I bought the Skeletool specifically for my tackle bag since I didn't need 3 knife blades, 2 wood saws, and 4 bottle openers on a fishing knife.
I like the locking knife blade though. Doesn't seem like many Leathermans have that feature. And the little clip on it is nice so I can hang it off my belt loop if I'm not carrying the whole bag around. But I know what you mean, there are much better choices for somebody who wants an EDC multitool that can do it all.

I mean if I could get those little Victorionox (or maybe knock-offs) with the tweezers and toothpick on them for a decent price on 50-100 of then with something /out/ related engraved or printed, I would give a bunch away for birthdays, Christmas, good stories, dubs, etc. and then sell some for $5-$10 to other people.
New knife. I added the tape around the handle myself of course, for extra grip and comfiness. It's a bummer that I took it with me and the leather sheath stitching is falling apart after just one trip. But it can be fixed.

coconut and olive oil will do in a pinch, but technically they are oils that break down and go rancid, and get sticky eventually.
Mineral oil is the way to go for a knife you want to use for food.
Just bought the SOL Escape Lite Bivvy. Seems neat so far, though I wish it wasn't so damn tight over my shoulders (stocky motherfucker right here)
The Sawyer water pouches are neat as hell though. I got some as a gift once and decided to buy more. 3 for $9 bucks is a good price IMO. I threw a full one on the floor and it didn't burst, so I think they are awesome.

I actually just gave away a bunch of stickers and had people email me with their info. And the little stuffed Twingos, some anon in Switzerland actually had them made but he shipped a big box to me because it was cheaper for me to send the individual ones via USPS instead of Swiss anon mailing each one to anons in the US.
I know Twingo plushie bro ended up losing a couple dollars after all was said and done but he wasn't trying to make money. Just wanted to cover costs. He did mostly PayPal and a few people mailed him checks or money orders or whatever.
Another anon sells stickers at WATRacing.com. He works with computers so he designed the site and keeps it up himself. He has a bit invested in the vinyl cutting machines and materials and does clear a little profit but it is minimal. He is able to sell his stickers for fairly cheap though since he makes them himself instead of having them made bt somebody else.
Shipping for everything has been easy enough. Stickers I just drop in an envelope with a stamp. For international envelopes, you can buy special int'l stamps, look up the rates and use multiple regular stamps, or bring it to the post office. And for the plushies and larger items, just buy some packaging material from anywhere, pack it up, and bring it to the post office. Regular postage on the plushies was $3-$4 depending where they went in the US and they give you a tracking number and everything.
And T-B-H, F-A-M, and a couple other things get filtered and changed into weeb words.
