So I'm hiking along and I came across pic related (orange peels). Immediately I was triggered beyond belief and all comprehension.
I picked them up but noticed wolf hair and little spots of what looked like blood next to them. Trappers
I followed footprints for about a half mile into the woods when I came across a trap line marker. I left them a present.

I walked in a stream, most traps are near water sources. I just happened to be wearing insulated rubber boots because my regular hiking boots were drying out. I also scanned the area for game cameras.

I'm new to this stuff, so please clarify something for me. Is it not appropriate to dump biological(?) waste when you're camping? I mean things that will rot in a short amount of time, like apple cores, banana peels, bread and meat, etc. Obviously not plastic wrappers or stuff like that, but what about organic waste?
