'All is lost' started off great, it let itself down with the suspension of disbelief, it got way out of hand, haha.
Just watched Unbranded on Netflix. It's about some dudes who ride horses from Arizona to Montana. Good movie if you want some scenery.

Based /out/ film of all time. Not a movie, but a documentary. Was totally blown away. The dog's goofy smile as it literally choses to RUN 100km home beside the snowmobiles and sled for the sheer fun of it, totally got me. Damn dog was so happy to run 100 miles.

People like you make me question intelligence. The dog didn't choose to do the whole 100 KM (pretty sure it was closer to 150 KM but whatever) trip by running, it's more like he didn't have a choice because his owner didn't allow him on the snowmobile. The narrator even points this out to emphasize this exact point. There are also a lot of times the focus is on how these hunters treat their dogs. Some good, some bad.
Overall, it's a good movie for sure, but I'm just blown away by your ignorance. You think a dog wants to run that far nonstop? You don't think it'd be better for him to be able to ride on the snowmobile as well after the little food he was probably given? I'm not going to start screaming animal abuse, but there is a part of the film where one of the hunters gives his dog literally nothing, like the smallest scraps you could barely see, and that's all his food for the day.

You know what, its literally not even worth it to argue with millenials. I could literally point out the exact time, the exact words, in the video, and you would have virtually zero comprehension of what you were watching. Literally anyone outside of your age group could clearly see the intent of the scene was to show the laika dogs insistence on chasing the sled, rather than riding in it. Its nature as a work dog first, guides it to this action. I literally have no idea how you form ideas or how you get through reading for viewing anything whatsoever, when you struggle with even the most basic concepts daily.

These animals are born and bred for this lifestyle, a direct comparison to the harsh environment they are raised in. I have no idea how you failed to grasp this concept, i really dont. The narrator even points this out to emphasize this exact point. The dog willfully runs beside, it is the dogs nature to do this. to run and work , rather than any sort of leisure.

it is literally explicitly stated in the film he feeds the "dog its fill in the morning" so it isnt dragging belly all day in the field. He is an expert dog trainer and hunter. I have no idea how you struggled so hard with documentary.
