It's Iony Island. There's nothing. It's a wildlife-rich, rocky island. Nature expeditions are regularly organized there, so that kind of trumps >>660116 's retarded /pol/ rambling.
It's black because Google can't be bothered to commission sat pictures specially for it (there is nothing else around) but still acknowledges it exists.

They would at least have low resolution pictures of it. It doesn't make sense to redact it when they took pictures of the water around it. Obviously it's something that someone wants kept secret from the general public.
