I took this and was thinking how cool. Then a half hour later it was dark and i had a 5 mile hike in the forest ahead of me with a Eveready headlamp with a dying battery.

took this while waiting for the super bloodmoon lunar eclipse last year.

I saw a truly breathtaking sunset and sunrise from a fire tower on top of Glastenberry Mountain on the Long Trail in Vermont. I only have my phone for pictures though, so they're awful quality.

Missed the sunrise this morning, first time I've been up early in forever
I took a timelapse of the first sunrise of 2016 for some euro qts i'm talking to. fucking clouds ruined it, but still looks kinda pretty

>This is why you keep hiking, to keep the /out/ fresh in your mind
