I'm in Western Mass. for school, and am really interested in urbex/cool outdoors spots out there. Does anyone know of anything really cool out there?

WRLP isn't that far, although you can explore the entire thing in under a minute.
Well bub you missed the golden era of Massachusetts exploration
The state institutions have all been torn down. But you have a school compound in Belchertown that is fucking awesome for exploring. Just be careful its behind a police station. There are over 20 buildings in Belchertown State School all connected by underground tunnels. If this. Thread is still up later I'll post photos from the place.
Too bad Danvers State Hospital isn't still around. Or North Hampton, or Worcester State. They were true relics.Danvers is one of the spoopiest places I have ever been, they invented and perfected the Prefrontal Labotomy there. If you have a chance watch Session 9.

I used to live on the little street that ran behind the Northampton state hosp. That place was insane.
There's a bunch of abandoned/semi-abandoned buildings in greenfield, and springfield is pretty much a slice of detroit in some areas. If you're up for several hours of driving north, I know a great place.
