I am considering getting a Newfoundland. having trouble learning about how they hunt. Are they skilled retrievers?

I'm pretty sure they're more for like rescue. They're related to Labradors in sense they're amazing swimmers and good companions though.

Standard poodle masterrace reporting in. Never had a better gun dog. They're hearty as fuck and easy to train because they're so damn smart and eager to please.
