Hello /out/,
I am considering a pair of Baffin snow boots, so I would like to know what you think of that manufacturer, and if you would recommend anyone else if I should avoid them.
Thanks
Baffins are absolutely amazing. i was a roughneck for 2 years and only ever had to buy one pair. I still have them packed away since i moved to WA. Buy a size smaller than what shoe you normally wear since you arent supposed to wear them with socks. They have kept my feet warm in -40f weather and they have never leaked. get the kind that seal around your mid-calf to avoid snow in your shoe.

I looked at a pair today, going with Vasque for alpine snowshoeing, but they seemed nice.
Basically, three things: fit, fit, fit
Try them on before on-line buy!
I know it sounds obvious, but in this day and age...
Love my baffins, might not fit you if you have underdeveloped chicken man legs

wouldn't it have been better to post pictures of the boots instead? I vaguely recall baffins are good but without reference I'm not sure.

Baffin makes a few dozen different lines and models
