After 30+ years of fishing I finally got bored with it. Part of the draw for me is not knowing what was on the other end of the line, Now I know instantly what I've hook just by how it feels and acts.
I think that if Iived near the sea I'd start fishing again since there's so much in the oceans that I've never caught or seen in person.

Nice flies sir. I've been fishing for 20 years now, fortunately still haven't got bored with it. Ever thought about bow fishing? Might change it up enough to get you interested again. I try to take newbies fishing as often as possible. It annoys some folks to take amateurs along but I've always enjoyed passing my knowledge along to others.

Bow fishing isn't my thing and I can't possibly fish with other people. Fishing was very personal for me. I always waded in the water, waist deep and really got into the vibe.
