Traffic related. Every morning I go down a two lane road that ends at two traffic lights, immediately after the lights it merges into one lane. Every morning, it backs up in one lane. Most people understand that they should stay in that one lane, it's more efficient that way.
But every fucking time, several chucklefucks will just skip down alongside the whole damn line and try to merge in after the traffic lights. Every day they disrespect dozens of people and common sense. It makes my blood boil. I never let them over no matter what but the people behind me do.

It's to allow people to pull out of parking lots, driveways, or to cross the road. A road with fast traffic doesn't have enough of a time gap for others to safely enter or cross.
This is also related to the situations you probably have already seen where you see at traffic lights "No Right Turn on Red". The purpose of that is to allow a big enough time gap between each surge of cars for others to enter the roadway especially if they are from connecting roads that have a lot of traffic but not enough to warrant another traffic light. Without that big time gap, the cars would pile up at that connecting road or parking lot unable to enter the road during busy traffic time periods.

I mean, that's not really wrong. Turbos are an exhaust restriction, and in general an NA engine will get slightly better fuel economy than an otherwise identical turbocharged engine of the same displacement, even out of boost.
The idea is that turbos allow you to use a smaller displacement engine than you'd otherwise be able to get away with for a given horsepower target, and this improves overall fuel economy (though whether that bears out in practice is up for debate).

At my workplace, we had a fairly religious highly conservative guy homeschooling his children to prevent them from being corrupted in public schools. This background is important because it is related to his ZEAL in following God's rules and that zeal transferred into having other people follow the law at least.
He was proud about following the law and would deliberately drive in the left or HOV lanes at no less than the speed limit. This was his way of stopping speeders. He would move between left and HOV lanes as needed to enforce the speed limit and switch to the right lane only when he needed the offramp to get home. In this way, he enforced the speed limit on the entire freeway behind him by creating a plug of drivers that went no faster than the speed limit. He was a very zealous conservative religious person who felt many people didn't follow the law or Ten Commandments properly. So this was his way of increasing lawfulness in the world without increasing the use of taxes (more police, etc) as he was a conservative and disliked taxes and wasteful social welfare.
When questioned about that, since I was irate at his method of stopping speeders, he said that the speed limit is the limit. It doesn't say to go faster. It says that is the speed limit. Period. He said with a smile that he was just trying to stop people from breaking the law! He already thought I was some selfish liberal asshole who supported lawbreakers and wasteful social welfare spending, so there was no way to break down his stance with logic as it would be ignored due to ideology. He would continue to enforce the speed limit on all lanes including the HOV lane. I guess he envisions himself as the silent protector watching over everyone to keep them safer on the road.
