why do these things cost so much money?
one with 200k miles, a shit load of rust, and tons of terrible modifications is at least $5000 by me, and they all sell within a day or two.
why do people willingly pay so much for a 15 year old non-turbo subaru impreza?

Because vaping neckbeard think they're fast.

I imagine alot of the buyers have hopes and dreams to swap in an STI engine/drivetrain. I was planning on doing this when I was car shopping.
>>15455769
Because you're poor
>>15455777
i don't have a problem with paying $5000 for a car
i just have a problem with paying $5000 for a car with 160hp, 200k miles, and is covered in rust and riddled with issues. at $2000 it would be a better deal. $5000 gets you a clean camaro ss or mustang gt.
1600 dollaroonies and 79k miles
>>15455864
you paid $1600 too much
look at all of that rust, i bet it's eaten all the way through the trunk and if you put a heavy package in there it will just fall through and hit the ground

You ever go on RS25 Classifieds? You put a 6 speed and EJ257 in it and people are willing to pay the price of a brand new WRX for one. It's always questionable as well, like hacked up wiring harnesses that look like a 13 year old with a hot glue gun and soldering iron decided to do the swap.
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to import a real GC8 soon enough.

why do these cars cost so much?
>>15455769
>why do these things cost so much money?
Can be had for less than a weeks wages.
>>15456463
Because people are idiots.
>>15456489
