yes, black cars are usually shot by the police at a much greater rate than white cars
white cars have jobs and 401k's though and largely refrain from chimping out

Break more often? Wut? Probably not. That sun likes to fuck with paint and interiors on older cars though but I don't think it will make a huge difference whether the car is black or silver.
Get a lighter interior and some dark tint and the windshield sun shade for when it's parked. Try to park in shade and you will be set.

No bro, darker colors tend to be cooler in an engine bay. Darker colors radiate heat faster, and absorb radiation faster as well.
Your engine bay isn't in the sun, and even if it were the heat from the engine would probably be the primary source of heat by at least an order of magnitude.
