I don't know why I'd ever want to buy one of these, but I need a reliable daily driver and I want one of these for some strange reason.

Sorry, no can do. I want a '11 Fusion Sport.
Serious question; Does it do ANYTHING better than a comparable midsize sedan?
I can't think of anything.
Also I always wondered why its called a "fusion", like its not a hyrbid so what they fuck are they fusing?

I bought a 2006 fusion from some girl who had it hit and run in a parking lot and didnt want to fix. Not too many issues, has more random suspension noises then any other car ive experienced, thats about it. Nice thing for DIY is that on ford and mazda vehicles you can do dealer level diagnostics at home for free with the Forscan software.

Probably the most boring mid-size sedan besides the Sonata.

2010 Fusion here. 58k miles and the only issue I've had so far was something with the throttle body.
I own a 2011 Ford Fusion with 75k miles. Handling is above average for a midsized sedan thanks to it's Mazda frame and the 3.0 Liter V6 gets mid-20's city with low 30's highway. It has been a reliable car so far except for one instance on the highway where the car lost power. Ford fixed the issue for me and it has been reliable since then
They're built on a Mazda platform so they handle pretty well for a sedan. The v6 one also is pretty reliable, just a bit difficult to work on. It also gets pretty decent mileage for such a big but quick car
2.5 or 3.0? Both are great engines, just ,make sure you keep oil in the 2.5 or you'll window the block. 3.0's are pretty fun. 3.5 Sport's are really fun. Either way good cars. I wouldn't mind owning one, especially a 2.5, 6sp.
