So kawaii

Buying a NA FC & current owner has rebuild papers from last owner proving the car was rebuilt 30k ago, but he says it was built with "extended clearances" so it "revs out higher, but has slightly lower compression"
Already looked at it & checked it out, cold starts & idles fine, but skeptical about the "extended clearances" & lower compression.
Is this a real thing, or a cover up for Apex seals or something? Plan on compression testing before sealing the deal, but still pretty new to rotary.

The lower compression in an NA doesnt make sense. It would lose HP. Extended clearance makes no sense either. Its either proper or its not.
Seems fishy to me

Apparently it's so it can rev to 10k, has bigger injectors, fuel pump, & other support mods equipt.
>>15429530
Well it seems to me he doesnt know what hes talking about. At what RPM does it idle?
Does it have port work done?
What stat gears are in it?
What rotors are in it?
How much money was spend on it?
These are all very important things to know.
Its not cheap to hit 10k rpm
>>15429542
Don't remember the idle rpm, but it was in the 800-1000 area, the kid I'm getting it from doesn't know much about 13b's either, other then keep it topped off on conventional oil, let it warm up, & rev it out once in awhile.
