It was basically a holdover drivetrain cause Chrysler couldn't source enough V6's from Mitsubishi and just needed SOMETHING to fill demand till they got their own V6 off the ground, and their N/A 4-bangers were so uselessly underpowered, and many people hated it because it was usually mated to an automatic transmission that was expecting a V6 with low-end torque, not a turbo-4 with high-end power. But despite being less powerful than the Dodge Omni GLH and weighing twice as much, something about it makes me want it.
Problem is, It's damn near impossible to not only find one with this configuration, and many have been turned into a WOAH, NOBODY EXPECTED A FWD 4-BANGER MINIVAN TO BE FAST XDDDDDDD dragster.
Probably a Dodge Intrepid. No idea why. Maybe because my dad had one when I was growing up?

Drivetrain is near indestructible, everything around it will break. Rust isn't much of a problem though, because galvanized body.

They were available with a 302 (Z28 only. Fastest model), a 327, a 350,and a 427. The 427 cars were all special orders. I think there were only 69 of them built. IIRC, The Yenko Camaros had a 396, but I never looked into them to confirm.
But yea. Normal V8 Camaro's got the 327, SS models got the 350 and Z28's got the 302.
The 302 was a destroker 350 block with a 283 crankshaft. The reasoning was because the Z28 was a racing homologation special so it could go Trans Am racing, which had a 305 cubic inch displacement limit. Chevrolet won the trans Am series in 1968 and 1969 with the car. Chevy's 302 made less power than Ford's (~360 HP vs ~375, both numbers in street form, not race form. Race cars had well over 400 HP), but it was less peaky and had a much more useable power band, which made the car much more successful on track. The Chevy 302 (often called the DZ302) was known for it's high revving nature. 7-8000 rpm wasn't unheard of for them.

Just an A4 B5 with a 1.8 ADR. I crashed it not too long ago (other persons fault) and got a good insurance payout for the repairs, replaced the bumper and fender (180€) and hood (0-40€, free but had to drive 200km to get it) along with new headlights. Had to go aftermarket non-OEM because cheaper, OEM were over 200€, angel-eyes with projector housing from FK was 130€ delivered and IMO look better.
Just did the timing belt, front brakediscs, pads, bought new wheels with tires, realigned the drivers door, installed headlight-washer system into the bumper and replaced gearbox oil. Also put my two 15" back into the trunk and ordered a new amp. Had to plasti the hood because slightly different shade + everyone told me I shouldn't so I had to to spite them. Don't let your dreams be memes.
I also wanted an A8, but the one D2 I was looking at got sold before I got insurance decision on payout, so meh... Maybe glad I didn't, maintenance is expensive as tits, not to mention yurocuck gas prices when driving quattro 4.2l V8 + student budget. Maybe when I graduate I'll get a nice one or an S4 with dat 2.2 inline 5.
Also, I got a lot of stuff put into the B5, all lights (except headlight H1's) are LED, got new speakers all around, aftermarket keyless entry, repaired the climatronic and did a littlebit of this and that. It's a pretty good car desu.

I don't know what it is about the Audi A3-4-6 and 8 but I just love their designs and meta-luxury you get. I agree an A4 would be much more reasonable to have bacause of repairs and expensive Audis using niche or rare, special parts for their more expensive cars so you don't get the Whole "buy an Audi that is 99% cheap VW" experience. That is why I like them I think. They are VWs with the best engines, gadgets and design.

My car has been through Heavy shit(used to be my sisters daily unfortunately) and I've been fixing it up. My sister slammed the left side fender there so hard almost all the Paint went off. I said fuck it and bought some carbon-plastic fenders that won't rust and had the shop fit and Paint them. It has Forge exhaust so it sounds loud, but there is some rattling coming from Down there so I gotta tighten some screw probably. BOV also makes it stand out(no one has them here in Norway) and the turbo-lag is no joke and kicks you in the balls when you og past 3000rpm. It is also 200% rust-free.
