Not a great pic but found another. The local reservoir was about 30 feet above normal a few years ago. Drove over a pile of driftwood to bypass barricades and go down an access road. When I reached the end I turned around and saw a white truck sitting at the barricades where I started. It was the only way back so I had no choice.. turned out it was the park ranger. He was shaking his head but smiling and was totally cool about it, just told me to go to an off road park about 30 miles away if I wanted to keep playing

tl;dr: dun goofs car into ocean, panics, dude smashes rear window to get her out
An outback is close enough to my GT I guess
>>15412977
How do you even get that out of there? Do you have to bring in a crane?
Hooking up to a tow truck seems like it would wreck the pool
>>15416620
Drain pool, disassemble piece by piece, reassemble outside pool

I just bought my first, I need to do the radiator hoses (fucker who sold it too me didn't cut it down far enough so it leaked like crazy) then all the gaskets, brakes, starter and then weld the frame before it's really drivable but it's so much fun, even though it's slow as piss
>>15417364
Air intake's on top of the engine somewhere, I think.
>>15417586
I got mine for $360. Put in new brakes, radiator, water pump, and now a clutch. Im about $300 into it.
Yeah it wont ever win a drag race but it's a Tank for sure.
Its my 5th Subaru
>>15417109
Nah, the r33 is known as the boat of skylines.
>>15417687
Got mine for 600, about 200 in (have all the parts but not the time to do anything) and I already replaced the driver side cv, didn't even have one when I bought it
>>15417962

I kind of want to own a pool. get a shitbox, drain it of all of its fluids, and then dump it in there.
It'll be kind of like one of those wrecked ship decorations that people put in fish tanks. I can just swim around inside the car.
>>15419639
i love that idea
>>15412483
wasnt that hard
>>15412508

I was expecting more people to have pictures of their actual vehicle

My car must be notorious for having a shitty water pump because that's all I found results for, pictures of it or guides on how to fix it.
>>15412483
I'll do you better with a video.
Had it on my phone for months but uploaded for the sake of the thread.

>>15412483
What about water in my vehicle?
>>15417452
air intake
that shit could be underwater but as long as the snorkel is above, ur good
>>15412483
Does frozen water count?
>>15420430
did you make a vid going in the other direction?
>>15424347
Nah I was on my way home and I didn't take that particular road in the morning.
Plus I wasn't wanting to risk getting water in the engine if I didn't have to.
>>15417153
>>15417167
>>15417169
My question is: are there a lot of shops that will waterproof the rest of the engine compartment beyond snorkels (ie good seals on tubing and electrical shit)? If you wanted to get a snorkel installed, I'd imagine sealing everything else off from the water and mud would be a good idea.
>>15421249
seen that imagine quite a long time ago.. only now do i realise it's a fake
