Your area has various auto parts manufacturing shops. If you can ever get a roster together like the /hou/ group, then why not try to arrange a tour of an auto parts manufacturing shop? Or even of a body wrap shop? Many places that wouldn't give a tour to just a few people would consider it for a larger group of automobile enthusiasts for the public relations aspect of it.
It would certainly make the Meets more unique and have some sort of feeling of accomplishing something outside of driving to places where some of you would not go except for the company of other Meet attendees.

I've been to non-4chan Meets and some are pretty large and even informative. Sometimes, people bring some tools they use and give demonstrations too. So the wrenching discussions can be helpful and even convince people to buy such tools.
I was at one meet where one person had some car problem and people sort of sneakily worked on it and no police or shops were all the wiser. Or they may notice but left us alone. After all, we gave some of them a lot of business and there was plenty of parking left so we weren't hogging spaces during a parking shortage.

We've had to diagnose battery issues on on RX8, coolant leaks on a Nova, a clutch master that just fucking exploded on the SA22, a scooter that wouldn't start, a random GM van that we encountered that wouldn't start, and a bike that was missing a bolt to connect the foot pedal to the rear brake. And those are just off the top of my head, not including cars that crashed.
