I owned a convertible Mini for a short while. Shittiest feeling interior I've ever felt. Everything looked and felt like a child's toy. I had an automatic so the paddle shifters were fun to mess with, but it got boring because the car just isn't that fast. The back seat is nonexistent and anybody I would have ride in the back I would tell to just put their legs up on the seat to spare them of the cramped space, and don't even get me started on that trunk. For the price, a non-convertible '03-'04 isn't outrageous. My wife is 4'7" and absolutely loved that car. Anybody that isn't a manlet wouldn't really like it, but don't let me stop you from getting one

I think it's the nicest looking interior in a mid-size pickup yet. It's nicer than the Colorado and Canyon, which I thought were already plain looking from the beginning. I'm a little excited to see the new Ranger. An EV or plug-in hybrid version of any mid-size truck would be a huge incentive for me.

At the time, the only competition the Challenger had was the pre-facelift S197 Ford Mustang. I like both designs, but I prefer the materials in the Challenger. Although it may look basic, it's full of soft feeling materials, like on the door sills and the entire dash (if I remember correctly). I sat in a 5th gen Camaro with that steering wheel and was just blown away for at least two minutes by how incredibly weird and hard to hold the steering wheel was. The spokes are huge and are angled sharply at the top. The "shift paddles" sticking out at the top aren't real. They're indicators for tiny shift buttons that are below them in the back of the steering wheel. The new steering wheel is much better (it's the same one in my Volt and many other GM cars), but I don't know if I like body of the facelifted 5th gen as much.

The 90s and early-mid 2000s did have the BARE BONES feel to them though. I own a 2000 and it would feel a lot better if there was more than fucking gray on the inside. maybe some contrasting stitching, or some red here or there. But it is just a fkn sea of gray.
