Recently got my 2-Series! Very happy with it!
It's just about the perfect size as long as you don't need the backseat too much.
Perfect balance of performance, size, weight, everyday drivability, for me personally at least.
M2 is the only beamer i'd be interested in honestly
m3 sedan is pretty nice, its like the older m5's of the 80's and 90's
the m6 gran coupe is nice too

Not seen one irl yet, but on pics it looks a little suv-ish.
because bmw traded its heritage and expertise in sport luxury for making as many models to fill as many niches as possible and slap their badges on all of them.
it really feels like all the old masters, the people still around from the e46 project, got shuffled to the budget 2 series and by god they're doing right by it
