Got that Corolla alternator swapped out and it definitely runs better. Not perfect but I think it's because the battery got drained too much thanks to the old alternator. Idunno I'll see how it goes.

yeah, generally the stock air box is the best bet. The Hybrid intake showed decent gains compared to the K&N and other intakes which made doo-doo power.
If you do route it down low, just make sure you get one of those prefilters like the AEM one. Can be scary if it rains really hard though - my motor started choking the other day when I was in that storm. Luckily the wrap kept all the water out and it was just the prefilter that was soaked.

Living there while I save up a down payment for my own house. Financially, it's been one of the best decisions I've made. I was able to land a good job right out of college and by living the basement dweller life for a bit, I have enough monthly income to to do one or two upgrades per month while still being able to build savings for a house. The house I end up buying will probably be a lot less comfy and more garage than house if things go right

Make sure you change the trans fluid every 30k miles and don't neutral drop or manually shift it.
So I hooked up the throttle position sensor wiring to the map sensor and the map sensor wiring to the throttle position sensor. Still got map sensor reading but no throttle position so now I'm stuck a few blocks away from home waiting for my car to cool down so I can fuck around with wires.

Reason I had it apart is because I used rtv silicone to seal the throttle body to the manifold when I swapped the manifold. I partially plugged the passage to the map sensor.

Depends on the year. Basically 10k per year is best. 12k per year is the highest mileage I'd take.
They feel like a taller civic. Not fast but any manual is tons more fun than auto. Visibility is good as well. Just be careful getting in and out of the back. The rear seats are further back than you think so then you get out you'll want to watch your head or you'll want to extend your back to soon and hit the ceiling like I did lol twice. I'd honestly get one if I see one in good condition when my civic dies.
