I am a huge fan of cars with long visible noses.
.
Currently driving a '87 Ford Sierra whoes nose is one of the nicest I find.

My sights are now on a Mercury Grand Marquis but since I'm Dutch these fuckers are expensive as fuck on monthly bases. Also, they are quite rare.
.
So besides the Grand Marquis is there any car with a nose like the '87 - '89 Sierra has? I am talking about no grill but just nose going all the way down to the bumper.

The nose is what I am looking for, the car itself I like a little less.

B3 Passat will always be the car I imagine when someone says "no grille".
>>
>>15388954
Yeah this one is pretty cool as well, except for the the fact the underline of the windows end half way in the trunk. instead of 'on' it.
>>
>>15388964
Wagon fixes that.
>>
>>15388941
Which one? I don't quite find one with a large nose except the Mazda Euros, of which the Netherlands counts.. 1

Older Renaults used to have this.
Pic related is a Renault 19 but I believe they had others like this too.

>>15388968
True. So since we're on the same page, any other suggestions?

Yes! I love that one, except for the technique.. Too much costs to maintain one for me.
.
Would not choose it over my Sierra but if I had the option to own both I would choose the Renault 25

Clio 1 might be worth a look, should be dirt cheap as well and can be made pretty fun.

I love this one too, not too expensive either and has a high cool factor

Not really my cup of tea honestly, it does have the non-grill nose though

What I really mean is a long 'big car' nose some 80's and 90's used to be very good at. So the nose has to belong to a big car as well

On that note, the MX-6 has the grille-less rounded nose too.

Too bad they're fucking rare in the Netherlands (I may or may not have been looking for them).

Don't really know what you mean.

The no-grille examples ITT are probably the best you'll get. If you want to look at a long hood when you're driving get any (pseudo)luxobarge from that era, the Cressida is a good example of a long hood while driving.
>>
>>15389050
Something like this exactly. You Japs/Americans are quite lucky in the Netherlands big noses are not very common.
.
But such like you mention is what I mean.

How about the Mitsubishi Carisma? It doesn't really fit in with the other cars ITT, but it doesn't get more nose-like than this. Or rather beak-like.

But it's probably not what you're looking for because of the grille, right?
>>
>>15389099
It's the right way of nose build, except the length seem just too short to make me fall in love with the car

Haha right, just what I expected

You should definately check out older Citroens, they are very similar to the Renault I posted earlier. Pic related is the Citroen BX, you should also look at the ZX and XM, they are without doubt some of the most beautiful cars of the 80s if you ask me.

And the BX and XM also have the bonus of hydropneumatic suspension, which is literally as comfy as it gets.

No doubt they are very beautiful, though my budget is too tight to start owning many of such cars yet.

So I first want to focus on a car that has a rather big nose, also in length. For a bigger and as cool nose as my Sierra my focus fell on the '99 post-facelift Grand Marquis.
>>
>>15389209
Only thing I do not like about this car is that the nose is heading down so quickly in it's angle.
>>
>>15389182
>>15389209
Early Xantias, too. Especially the Activa handled surprisingly well, again thanks to its hydropneumatics.
