I don't know anything about cars boys, but I need to come up with a good excuse as to why my car won't start so I can go into work late. They think it's in the shop right now and that I'm waiting for it to finish getting worked on. What do you guys suggest I say the problem is?

Tell them it would start and when you got there it turned out the starter cable was bad. Then acted pissed off it took them x number of hours and 500 bucks to change a damn wire.
