The GTR's engine weighs 608 lbs. A 3.5L EcoBoost engine weighs 446 lbs. Not to mention the EcoBoost makes more power and torque. The GTR would only benefit from an EcoBoost engine. It's already good but ecoboost would make it better.

None of those things are neccessarily bad in a supercar (not that i think it is a supercar, it's clearly a high performance GT).
Supercars have fewer impositions (for want of a better word) on what they can be, they're about pushing the boundaries, and the GT-R definitely does that in a lot of areas.
