Rode a proper bike for the first time, picture related. Took a bit to get it started as it was sitting for about 5 years, but it starts first kick now. I'm addicted now, I love researching it and doing what I can to improve the bike angle my riding.

The 1985 GSX-R750 was of course the first race replica bike in the modern format and suzuki are responsible for sneaking the expansion chamber out of western germany and making the 2 strokes into the beasts they were.

It has a reportedly spritely v-twin that makes decent power, it's light, decent suspension, flawlessly executed styling. It may not be groundbreaking technologically but they have managed to build a semi-beginner bike that focuses on the joy of riding rather than being an oversized scooter with half a car engine. Even the CBR650 isn't particularly great engine or suspension-wise. In pretty much every class of roadbike Honda offers the most boring option, except maybe the AT which is the shiniest of a bunch of turds and the unobtanium RC-V213S.
