Any ~2012 Genesis owners here? Both the coupe and sedan seem interesting enough, but they are very different. How do they compare in terms of performance and handling? I like the looks of the sedan and the comfort but don't feel like driving a land boat.
They are two different vehicles.
Buy a mustang instead ok?

Had a 2014 sedan. It's Hyundai so it does nothing very well, and it sure as hell didn't feel like a sports car.
Can't imagine there are many/any people here that have had both recently but idk famalam

OP here. So it's not fun to drive at all? How is the interior quality / technology?

I have the 2012 sedan. 3.8L and fully loaded with tech options. Its a great car, incredibly smooth with not a lot of road noise. Plenty quick with RWD and 330hp, in fact it'll keep up easily with v6 mustangs or camaros.
Haven't driven the coupe. Its not nearly as luxurious (cloth and plastic everywhere) but lighter and probably a bit faster. You will get raped on insurance if you get the coupe though, based on what other guys pay to insure theirs.

Yer dam right. It is a 4.6 litre v8 300hp 0-60 in 5.
Can't do much better for the cash.

Im shopping for a mustang right now too
wasn't a huge fan of how the pre 2010s looked but its all I can afford. After seeing your pic though I kinda changed my mind. Got any more pics?

Sedan: outclassed by its competition (Lexus and so on)
Coupe: outclassed by its competition (Mustang GT, 370z, etc.)
