When is /o/ going to acknowledge diesel is the superior engine for DD?

Yeah, like 30kg will make that huge of a difference, uh?
And even turbocharged diesels have less components than N/A petrols.

They're called glow plugs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF8g6YFQrE4

>it get hot quicker so consume less when you're commuting in winter and you have heat sooner
My car takes literally 3 minutes of normal driving to reach the normal operating temp in cold weather (which is relative since I live in southern europe and cold here is about 5ºC)

Okay? You just claimed diesel is superior for overtaking, which it isn't. Are you done damage controlling?
>>
>>15361021
>Oh and i forgot the noise and vibration
Depends on the engine. Nowadays diesel engines are pretty refined.
I don't feel any vibration inside the car and you don't even hear the engine above 1750, only the turbo whine.

>Diesel engine need turbo direct injection and glow plugs to do the same as a petrol engine
The ECU rarely uses the glow plugs to warm up the engine. Only in extreme cases.

>And a petrol would warm up quicker
Again, it depends on the car.

>>15361042
>Also they need more antipolution device than petrol engine
Just a DPF. Also, you have the benefit of actually having the option to straigh pipe everything including the DPF and Kat and have literally no worries on a roadworthiness inspection, because they only measure the smoke opacity.

>And soon every diesel will a urine reservoir for lower emission
Well, those beers have to go somewhere.

>>
>>15361066
I don't say they couldn't do the job i just say a petrol engine could do it better

Glow plugs are often use here in winters and i in middle of europe

Well i tested a c 3 and a clio wich had a 1.4 L diesel and a 1.2 petrol guess wich is quicker to warm up has more power and consume less when cold

And at the equivalent trim in a car petrol engine will make less noise

For the inspection you pass but you're still polluting more than a petrol

Yeah just remenber you will have to buy adblue in store if you don't want rust every so enjoy paying for piss
>>
