If you score less than 87.5% on this you don't belong here

So which one did you miss?
>>15359071
When I took it a while ago I misread one of the graphs as power instead of torque. Easy mistake to make
>>15358980
OP have failed.
>>15358980
You did an AWD to FWD conversion on a cat?
>63%
good thing im into chassis and suspension more than im into engines
>>15358980
That test is retarded and full of retarded information.
>>15359453
For instance, look up the units that torque is measured in.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torque
It's Newton-meters (or lb-ft if you're Amerifat). That's also known a Joules. It's a measurement of ENERGY.
Not force, energy.
This is dumb. Find a better test OP
>>15359453
> I failed therefore the test sucks
>>15359491
yeah no
torque is a moment that's it
it's neither energy or force
and power is a measurement of energy divide by time so it's not a measurement of "work"
the other question looked ok
>>15359491
No, torque is torque. It's not energy.
>>15359543
I'll agree the test isn't perfect in word usage but it's not that bad
>>15359550
the two first question confused me to be honest
and i thought there was rpm on the third one wich didn't apparently
and i got wrong at the less or more torque than horsepower
the test isn't that bad overall
i did learn something
12.8%, better than 0!
>75
Eh good enough
>>15359491
No, Newton meters are a measure of torque m8. It doesn't mean exerting 1N of force over a straight meter.
>>15359570
yeah, the graphs are easy to read wrong
>>15359604
It IS another way of saying Joule if you're a fucking ponce.
>>15359617
So you think because they have the same units that means they're equivalent? If that's the case, why have them separate at all?
>>15359617
Energy = scalar, torque = vector
Joules are never used to measure torque.
i get to stay
i know nothing about wrenching btw
Yea it has wrong info in it. Power is not work over time, its instantaneous. Energy is work over time.
>>15359491
I believe since it is a rotational force it says newton meters or foot pounds referring to a force of one newton or one pound placed on the end of a lever 1 meter or foot long. The torque that arm produces. So it is not a measurement of energy since it would have to involve time in some way.

> confirmed for no reading comprehension
>>15359921
>confirmed for failing physics
Torque is never measured in Joules, even if the SI units are the same you fuckstain
>>15359947
jesus fucking christ
he said >if you're a fucking ponce.
>>15359798
Energy and work are equivalent, you dullard. Why don't you show me the formula for mechanical power if it's not work/time?
>>15358980
>not getting 100%

But I come from /k/, and I came to learn about cars.
>>15361438
A-are you me? I realized I could detail strip and clean basically anything but knew fuck all about how engines work and figured lurking /o/ would be the best way to start.
I don't even own a car.
>>15361481
Same
I've worked on my car before, but only basic maintenance and nothing really technical other than bolting things on and replacing my oil. I came to like /o/ after about a year and a half of lurking, but I still don't know shit about engines.
