What's the most fun car money can buy under 20K?
A random petrolhead who I met on a flight back home advised to me that used Porsches can be surprisingly reliable as project and track cars. He's currently in the hunt for a Turbo Renault 5. Is he crazy, or stupid rich?

if youre lucky you can find one 2011+ (with the new 5.0 engines) for under 20k but usually theyre around 22k

He's correct about Porsches, you just need to do research before you buy. For example, the early 00's Boxsters. You think it would be good to buy a garage queen with low miles, but those are actually still at risk of IMS failure. Higher mileage means they don't have the IMS issues.
