I grew up in GM "muscle" cars
C3 Corvette 350
a big block El Camino
a 305 El Camino (yeah real muscle I know)
Camaros of 2nd-4th gen
also had experiences with Foxbodies but no Mopar past trucks
until I was about 16 they were all I knew, I got to ride inna buddy's lightly modded Civic on some mountain roads and I realized something about muscle
they drive like shit
they ride like shit
the seats are terrible
even when theyre faster they wasnt as fun as a rev happy lighter car
this little maybe 110hp Honda put a smile on my face even a 427 couldnt
I currently drive a fwd turbo compact and could never see me in a muscle car for anything other than thrashing into the ground

Yeah the ferrari can do track better, but the muscle car is cooler, and the poor traction of a muscle car makes it fun while still fast. Plus that muscley V8 exhaust note. Put a posi in there and you got burnouts all day long, and nothing beats the open-air feel of a drop top.
