The other day I walked into a Ford dealership and test drove a Roush stage 1 mustang. Basically just an ecoboost with a body kit and exhaust. After I made some comments about how it needed more power the salesman told me about the 670hp RS3, and then I test drove that. Ton of fun, revved at stoplights, ripped a skid on a turn, and got up to 120mph on the highway. When the test drive ended I just told him it wasn't what I was looking for and left. Ton of fun for no cost whatsoever, and he let me drive how I wanted because he thought I was actually gonna buy a car with 14 miles on it that he let a stupid kid abuse for a half hour.

Who else j/o/yrider here?

Actually things that 100% happened, but I don't blame you for your suspicions; I was pretty surprised about it too.

Why is this bait. Does literally nobody else like to go to car dealerships, pretend to be interested, and then hoon around the streets in somebody else's car for free before slipping yourself out of the situation in a crafty manner? Like last time before that I set an alarm before I went out and then when it went off I pretended I forgot about a lunch appointment I had to go to but I'd "100% be right back after this."

This is pretty fucked up anon, its shitlords like you that make salesmen act fucked up to everybody.

Cars at a dealership aren't even broken in. Driving them like an asshat during their break in period is literally destroying them. The dealer of course wont eat this cost so they sell it to some other anon who ends up getting fucked.

But fuck him because he can buy a car you want but can't afford, right?

I hope you forget how to shit and die from constipation.

actually this is false.

all cars these days come broken in before they hit the dealer.

example: honda will drive around the civic for a few laps, softly to wear everything in and check it's all functioning BEFORE it gets on the boat to it's intended country.

it's quality control and removing the break in period from dickheads who will fuck it up and then tarnish the name of the brand by saying it's shit.

http://www.edmunds.com/honda/civic/2016/long-term-road-test/2016-honda-civic-not-much-of-a-break-in-procedure.html

>During the first 600 miles (1,000 km) of operation, avoid sudden acceleration or full throttle operation so as not to damage the engine or powertrain.

>Avoid hard braking for the first 200 miles (300 km). You should also follow this when the brake pads are replaced.

rekt.
