Germans(European mostly) simply just make the best cars in the world. I agree to this statement. I adore the quality in them. They make like no one else does.

It was engineered to strike fear into the heart of allied tank crews and that's exactly what it did. How many Germans died in their "unreliable" tanks? How many allies died in their "reliable" tanks facing "unreliable" German tanks?

Second hand German cars are often neglected in the US because parts and maintenance are more expensive than that of a comparable asian or American car. This leads to them being unreliable in the used market, add in the fact that the majority of German car owners bought them because "Muh luxury" and don't know a damn thing about taking care of car and you get a artificially unreliable cars.
Also their constantly compared to Japanese cars in terms of reliability which isn't fair because Japan is the end all of reliability/efficiency
Americans suck at maintaining cars and it just get's worse when they learn that maintaining a german car with all its tech features is more expensive than keeping an american made pushrod car going.
