I'm curious to hear what people think of this car. Possibly looking to pick one up.

They're both 2nd-gen version of the platform used for the Y-body cars. Technically, the XLR and the Corvettes C4-C7 all share the same platform.

True. But he claimed c6 specifically when it was always more related to c5. And he was making more of a 4thgen trans am/Camaro comparison.
They do look pretty sweet though.

Why do all the modern Cadillacs photograph so poorly? I've seen one of these in person and it looked great but in that picture it looks like garbage.
Same thing with the CTS-V and ELR too.

if you want to get nitpicky, the C6 wasn't all that different from the C5 either. It's essentially just a re-tweaked version of what the C5 had.
