add couple of kits of nitrous onto said v8
add powerglide plus suitable diff ratio to get 200+mph

Well it cost Speedfactory over 100k to get theirs to do it in the quarter. I'll assume you can do it for third of that and a mile long track. Mine could do it with the right aero and about 2.5 miles maybe 3 miles and I've got about 17k in mine. Doubt you could do it any cheaper desu famalam.
