Would be neat to have depth, too. I'm not going to waste width on street lamps, bicycle racks and bus stops seperately or parallel parking and trees or flower beds seperately when I could just place them in alternation.

I'm fairly happy with this one: Light rail separated by a one metre footpath, half metre cycle lanes in between two lanes of traffic, turning lanes on the outside side of the street, transit shelters on the very edge so passengers have to cross two lanes and a cycle lane to get to the light rail.
To top it off the light rail travels in the opposite direction to the rest of the traffic.
